Start with the Mixed Meze, a combination of humus, tabule, cacik, sasuka, bakla, tarama and falafel. Hot starters may include Escale Kofte, spiced char-grilled meatballs or perhaps finely diced lambs liver, seasoned and shallow fried. A good selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes follow on and include classic dishes such as Mousakka, Kleftiko, Mushroom Stroganoff or the Escale Mixed Grill.

I totally love this place and regularly travel from Ealing to eat here. The meze is delicious and I recommend the Ishpanak (spinach stewed in olive oil with peppers, onions and rice served with yoghurt) as a main course. The only problem is that by the time you've eaten all the meze or whatever you are too full for dessert, although I have it on good authority that the baklava is great (served hot with ice cream!). The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. For my money the best place to eat in Kew/Richmond - especially when it is warm enough to eat outside.
